Ask Dr. Tech Launches
in Sacramento
San Jose, CA - July 10, 2000 - Ask Dr. Tech, announced
today they have selected the Sacramento area to establish a soft launch for Ask
Dr. Tech. This campaign will be
supported with marketing, advertising and public relations activities.
“Sacramento is the perfect environment for us to launch
Ask Dr. Tech. The area is rich with
homes with personal computers and many small to mid size businesses with
computers,” states William Lam, Founder and CEO of Ask Dr. Tech.
The campaign will be supported with radio and TV ads and a
variety of other creative marketing ideas, including the distribution of Ask Dr.
Tech ‘branded’ coffee cup sleeves in 20 of Sacramento’s most prominent
cafes. Similar to Yahoo and (now) others, this ‘cafe approach’ sparks
interest by putting the message right into the customer’s hand.
About
Ask Dr. Tech
Ask Dr. Tech. (www.askdrtech.com)
has an innovative business model. Different
than most computer technical support services, Ask Dr. Tech is able to provide
around-the-clock unlimited support for its customer base at a very affordable
price for one full year. That’s
because, it is in fact, membership driven, ironically similar to AAA or many
other automobile roadside assistance plans.
Ask Dr. Tech, with its on-line and on-the-phone computer
support services, is headquartered in San Jose, California.
