Ask Dr. Tech Announces Key Management
Team
San
Jose, CA – March 15, 2000 – Ask Dr. Tech, a privately funded company, noted
as an up and coming leader in the computer technical support sector, announced
its key management team, today. The team includes Louie Dituri, Director
of Distribution, Steve Kearsley, Director of Creative Design, David Bunnell,
Director of Marketing, Hank Butler, Director of Web Development, Ben Nagrani,
Director of Business Development, Jim Pojda, Director of Operations, Phil
Casella, Director of Content, Taide Carpenter, Director of Syndication, Jason
Chin, General Counsel and Lance Mortensen, Chairman.
“This team of winning talent from leading companies will
spearhead our first steps at Ask Dr. Tech, and (then) continue on through the
threshold of our May 15 launch
date, ” announced William Lam, Founder and CEO of Ask Dr. Tech.
Chairman Lance Mortensen is also the Founder and Chairman
of ZapMe! Corporation and prior to that he was CEO of Monterey Pasta Company
from 1992 to 1995.
Louie
Dituri, Director of Distribution, formerly worked with companies including TCI
cable, California State University and Remax.
Steve Kearsley, Director of Creative Design is an experienced
illustration, editorial graphic designer and cartoonist with credits including
the San Francisco Chronicle. David Bunnell, Director of Marketing, brings unique
skills ranging from television production, e-commerce, and branding to marketing
strategy & campaign management.
His past work includes NBC, The California Lottery and others.
As Director of Web Development, Hank Butler manages all aspects of web
engineering and has previously worked with The Learning Company and Broderbund.
Ben Nagrani, Director of Business Development, formerly held a post with
NordicTrack overseeing the start up and marketing activities of their online
division. Jim Pojda, Director of
Operations, was formerly employed by IBM/Oracle International Competency Center
at the Oracle headquarters. Phil
Casella, Director of Content, has written numerous hardware and software
manuals.
He has also reviewed products for Infoworld and other
publications. Taide Carpenter, Director of Syndication, was formerly with
Trimble Navigation Limited managing their marketing communications. Jason Chin,
General Counsel, formerly was the founder of Sawamura Chin Nishimi & Chu, a
law firm specializing in representing international business and financial
institutions.
